Class Descriptions
HATHA YOGA
Learn to respect your body as a spiritual tool and discover its intelligence as you stretch, strengthen, open and relax. Open to all levels. Our Hatha Yoga classes strengthen the body and still the mind by interweaving postures, spiritual practices and breathing with awareness. Every class ends with a guided relaxation. Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing.

Tuesdays starting April 24: Yoga for RYYO, a class for young adults 5:15 to 6:25 pm

INNER LIFE OF ASANAS
Open up your practice of hatha yoga to another level of meaning. Reflect on the symbolism of the poses, explore the myths, discover connections to your life now. This reflective approach is based on Inner Life of Asanas and Hidden Language Hatha Yoga. Bring a journal.

KUNDALINI YOGA REFLECTIONS ON SAKTI POWER
Understand how the creative force is constantly at work in your life. Make conscious choices of who you want to be and what you want to create in your life and in the world. Reflective practices from The Devi of Speech: the Goddess in Kundalini Yoga and Kundalini Yoga for the West. Bring a journal.
Mondays 7:00 to 8:30 pm
YOGA for RYYO – HATHA YOGA FOR YOUNG ADULTS
A late afternoon Hatha yoga class to take you into your evening. Geared to young adults age 15 – 35. Pay what you can, and give back to your community. All proceeds from this class go to the Radha Yoga Youth Outreach, which offers yoga classes to at-risk youth throughout Spokane.
Tuesdays 5:15 to 6:25 pm – This class starts on April 24
YOGA OF HEALING
Stretch, breath and relax. Explore how a yoga practice can support your healing process. This class will help you regain balance and flexibility in many parts of your life.

THE DREAMING MIND
Where do dreams come from? What messages do they hold? Dream Yoga is a powerful way to get in touch with your Higher Self. Learn a step-by-step method to unlock the language of your unconscious. By working with the symbols and metaphors of your dreaming life, you can begin to understand how dreams can offer guidance and support in your waking life. Bring a journal.

YOGA FOR BEGINNERS and Others…
Whether you are new to yoga or returning, come deepen your experience of the benefits this ancient tradition offers for today’s world. Learn yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation practices. Discover how these practices bridge to daily life.
Thursdays 5:30 to 6:45 pm
HATHA STRETCH & RENEW
Come Saturday mornings to stretch away the tension of the past week and renew yourself for the days to come.
Saturdays 9:00 to 10:15 am
MANTRA & MEDITATION
This is a time to relax the body and still the mind with mantra yoga, Light visualizations and other practices used at Radha Yoga Center. You are welcome to drop in. Payment is by contribution.
Thursdays 7:00 – 7:45 pm
SACRED DANCE
Experience the harmony of body, mind and spirit through graceful dance rhythms and gestures. This is a sampling of a devotional yoga practice based on East Indian classical dance.
If you have no experience with our sacred dance, please call for more information.

Singing, chanting, devotion, inspiration and stillness

Consider rounding up your check as a donation to our non-profit center, to cover payment of classes for those who cannot afford them.
- Please call ahead to register. Our studio space is limited. As a result, we can reserve your space for a class only if you pay a deposit of $20 before the class begins.
- Drop-ins are welcome when there is class space. Please call ahead to check for space availability.
- Make-ups can be done only within the session paid for, but not carried over to the next session.
- No refunds are given after the second week of the session. There is a $15 service charge for processing refunds.
